Ok, so the liberal humanist perspective, where we must attribute all the concepts that we have ever read in either Shakespeare or Emily Dickinson to a "universal" perspective, has all went to crap now, because (Im sure you will get a kick out of this) all the other schools of thought in literature, either post colonial theory or Multicultural Feminist Theory, are based on deconstructing the very thing that you taught us.

And THAT explains why I never got higher than a B in your class, besides my terrible handwriting and incomplete thoughts.

But I gotta thank you anyway, because humanist's really know how to close read, and knowing how to do that will get you places.
